Migadu Email

We use Migadu to host our individual email addresses. You can access it either by using their webmail or by adding it to your email app on your desktop or mobile device.

If you're looking for access to shared email addresses such as info@ or volunteer@ then these are instead available on Freescout. Please see more info here: https://wiki.rainbowhe.events/books/it/page/freescout 

Account Setup

Once you've had an account created you should receive a password reset email to your personal email address. This will come from  support@migadu.com with the subject "Password reset request from rainbowhe.events administrator". Click the link in this email and you will be able to reset your password. This link is only valid for 24 hours so you'll need to request another if this time passes.

Webmail

The simplest way to access the email is to go to webmail.migadu.com and login there. This will instantly give you access to your email account in your web browser.

Before sending any emails from the webmail it's worth setting your display name:

1. In the top right click your email and then Settings

2. Click on your email address next to Identity

3. Enter your Name and click Save

Other Email Apps

To add the email account to other apps simply add an account as normal. If required the server details are:

Incoming Mail
Protocol IMAP
Server imap.migadu.com
Port 993
Security TLS
Authentication Password
Username you@rainbowhe.events
Password (mailbox password)
Outgoing Mail
Protocol SMTP
Server smtp.migadu.com
Port 465
Security TLS
Authentication Password
Username you@rainbowhe.events
Password (mailbox password)

Password Reset

If you've forgotten your password or would just like to change it then this can be done by an administrator. Please contact IT with the personal email address you'd like the password reset link to go to.
